Help..wheel key is stuck

Help..wheel key is stuck Well I was putting on my one of my wheels today and the damn wheel key/lock is stuck to the lugnut. What is the best way to get it off?

What kind of key/lock is it? Sometimes when that would happen to me I would just screw the nut back onto the stud and knock the key off, but keep the nut on there loose enough so you can take it off with your fingers. Good Luck

Its just the factory key/lock for SS wheels. The thing is I have the wheel already mounted up and lugs tightned and the damn key is stuck to the lug.

thread the nut back on to the lug bolt tighten it up. then go get a pair of channel locks, clamp it on real good then wiggle the hell out of it lol.
Thats what i do atleast, damn thing gets stuck everytime.
