Default Will a 16" wheel fit on...

a 99' WS6 without rubbing anything? If so I'm gonna buy (2) 16" wheels & some DR for my trips to the track. I just wasnt sure if they would fit ok or not.

Yep. LS1's come stock with 16's unless you get an SS or WS6. You getting some factory firebird or camaro wheels?

Well actually I'm now lookin at some WELD racing wheels. But I only see the style of wheel I want in a 15" wheel.

What are you guys runnin weld wheels runnin? I was hopin they made like a 16" x 11" but havent found anything yet.

I originally was gonna just use (2) of my buddy's 16's off his Z28 with some DR on them. But now I want a seperate set of wheels from weld racing for at the track. Lookin into some skinnies for the front also.

Any info is very much appreciated.

Weld did make some XP's in 16" but they're discontinued. I had 15x3.5 and 15x10 Welds but you gotta gring the sh*t out of the calipers to fit them w/o running spacers and longer studs.

I just talked to Weld racing & was informed they make NO 16" wheel to fit a 99' Trans Am. So it looks like I'm gonna have to just get (2) of those stock 16" wheels off my buddy. I hate to do that but I guess I can just only run those at the track since they wont match anything. Oh well, we do what we gotta do.

The guy from Weld did tell me that they will be making a wheel like I need in the near future due to other people wanting them. So at least a little good news.
