I"ve ran them several times. It all just depends on what you're looking for.
Cheap decent tire then go for it. Ultra high performance street tire then no..

What problems have you had with this tire? Is it sticky on dry pavement?

I've heard they're okay at first, but get hard as they wear down.

I've currently got them on my 315s, and they seem acceptable for street driving. However, they've got a pretty small contact patch, and I'm sure they're not the best.

I second the zero traction. If you want to feel like your car makes serious power and cant get traction then they are good but if you want to hook dont waste your money. I had them on my car stock and would spin them if I got on the car anywhere up to 40 on a roll.

I've heard of people going anywhere from 1.76s to 1.92 60' at the track. Someone told me that these tires are sticky but require a good burnout. Sounds like when they are cold= zero traction and when they are heated up, they become sticky. Anybody care to share 60' times?

HTR's suck for traction. I have 315's on my car and it hooked way better on the 285 BFG KDW.

For 315's, they were the cheapest option, at $110/tire... Nitto drag radials were $150/tires, and the rest were at least twice as much. I consider them a good buy for 315s.

I've seen people talking about that too. I'd love to hear how they got those times, whether it was with a nice, long burnout, or with a quick dry hop, and what kind of pressure they were running in the tires. I sure as hell need to drop my 60' times.

I find it hard to believe anyone could cut a 1.7 or so 60' with a HTR Z. These arent even close to DR's so more likely 2.0+ w/ these tires. IF you wanna race get a second spare set of 16's for the Nittos.

2.1 60' time on my Sumitomos, basically stock car, lid/catback, ran 13.1. I couldn't get better than 2.1 because my 48k mile car had original everything, including clutch and plugs etc.. and the clutch would slip if i tried to launch harder.

I've had these tires for a year.. not bad.. ZERO traction when cold. Heat em' up and they stick pretty well, at the track launching at 2750 wheel spin was minimal, and spun a little 1-2 shift (good burnout before launch) with clutch slip 2.1 60' (see link to my timeslip below)

For $100 a tire, not bad bat at all, WAY better than Kuhmo Ecsta supra 712s, but I'm going BFG KDW's next..
