Default One Simple question. What the hell are these for?

Do I need these?

I've got 18in wheels all around. I dont believe i have any clearance issues.

No, you don't need them. I guess they just offset the bumpstop for clearance. There are cheaper ways to do that if you were having problems with it.

It's going to be the width of the wheel rather than the diameter that could cause the need for that, but if you aren't having any problems now, you don't need them

those came on all camaros and transams that came from the factory with 17 inch wheels. all they do is make the bump stop hit the rearend housing sooner so the taller tires wont scrub.they go in between the rubber bump stop!

H'mmmm I have a 98 Z/28 that came with 16's.... I am about to go to 17x9 with 275/40/17 tires. Will I need these silly things? The wheels are TT II's.

No, you shouldn't. I haven't heard of anyone buying those things. With the right offset, the wheels will fit perfect.

i put 17in z06 rims on my car, that came with 16in rms. i did not use these and all is well.
