Default Bridgestone Potenza's?

What do you guys think of these tires? I ask because I messed up my tires pretty bad on a trip down to Houston over Christmas and was forced to buy some tires immediately to finish up the trip, since my alignment was shot and I had the lifetime alignment with firestone I just went there and asked what the best tire they had was, they recommended the Potenza so I bought two and put them on my front tires. My rear tires were pretty low on tread but I didn't have the cash for two more tires at the time. Well I have some cash now, and I'm wanting to buy tires, but I'd really like them to match, do you think I'll get decent performance out of these tires or would you recommend I go with the f1's?

Also: I have a 10 bolt and I'm stuck with it until this summer at the very least. Assuming I don't go to the track and I don't try to race anyone until I get a new rearend (but I do drive a litlte aggressively just to get my fix) how likely is it that I will ruin my rearend with the f1's?

I have them on my car now and have no complaints. They are smooth up to the limit and are easily controlled in a slide. I drive wet or dry and have not had any problems with them. I would recommend them and am actually looking at them when we replace my wife's tires on her car.

I had'em before. They didn't last long at all. But great traction and control. Very smooth. Never had any problems other than wearing them out.

Had them on my GTP and was very pleased. Was amazed at the snow traction I got with those.

I have RE-750s on my Honda and LOVE THEM!

they do great for what they are I have real slicks for racing. They hook well for a street tire are fairly quiet do great in the rain *being a 1900lb FF car doesnt hurt either* I have a few thousand on them and they look brand new.

The model of potenza matters alot though. A downside of them is they are quite pricey. From what I've read about them most F-body users were happy with them no matter the model.

I had the bridgestone re730's also. i liked the firmness of the sidewall and the traction was good too. i would buy another pair, thumbs up for me.

What Im runnin now is a "Fuzion zri" tire made by Bridgestone.it's a good tire, i cant complain.i got a good deal on mine but i think they only cost about $115ea.

Well, one bad review and the worst news is that they wear out quickly? How quickly are we talking about here?

I have a set of RE 750's on my 01 SS and I love them to death. They look awesome, both sidewall and tire design, have great handling and good traction. OH and I think they actually have a long tire life unlike others have said.

You guys are talking about tread life on these when a lot of guys on this board are running on soft compound drag radials...I don't think you have anything to worry about...
