i was looking at 17x11's with a 50mm offset but i ran into the same problem you did....i dont know how bad if it is gonna rub, i also hear from the tire sites their disclaimer about how it could mess up your suspension (obviousley theyd have a disclaimer)....i am also looking for some feedback on 17x11s...good luck

The Zr1s are either 50mm or 36mm offset. The 36mm will stick out a little more then the 50, so if you are lowered you should roll the outer fender lip. One of the board members rents a fender roller. You just have to drive around with them installed to see if they will rub the inner fender. It will leave some marks, so you will know exactly where to hammer. I used a 3lb sledge hammer. When they are installed you will need to lift the rear of the car by the rear axle otherwise the rim will come in contact with the bump stop.

At stock ride height, I didn't have to do a thing. When I lowered, it rubbed like crazy. An adjustable panhard bar will help keep things centered, so if it only rubs on one side when you're turning, your rearend is likely off center. I pounded mine quite a bit, but it seems to be rub-free now.

I already beat in the inner fender lip and the bottom corner a good bit on both sides . i only see one spot on both sides taht look like a trouble area
. It right towars the bottom front part of the wheel well and it looks like that will be my only bad spot to worry about . Thanks for all the info I guess ill just wait till they come in and test it out with normal driving first ,and then try it out at wot and launching and see if i can get it perfect.
