Default Wheel fitment ? ZO6 Replica

I just purchased 4 17" x 9.5" ZO6 replicas with a 54mm offset. I plan on running 275/40/17 on the front and rear of my 2000 Trans Am. I checked out the sticky threads and they are supposed to fit. I did a trial run <rim only> on the front and back. The inside of the wheel seems awfully close to the spindle arm on the front and the bump stop bracket out back. I'm just concerned that the mounted tire will make contact with either the spindle arm on the front or the bracket in the back. I have verified the offset vs. the advertised, I do have the correct wheels. I just want to make sure before I mount the tires and own them. Thanks!

well, I have 18x9.5 ZO6 replicas with a +57mm offset (the wheels are 3mm further in) and I have no problems...... I am currently using a 3mm spacer to move the wheels further out, as it looks better IMO.....effectively giving me a +54mm offset.

You'll be fine. OEM SS wheels are 56 mm offset.

That's what I have on my T/A, and there are no fitment issues at all
