Default 17x9 +24mm Offset / 5.94" backspace

17x9 5x4.5 +24mm Offset / 5.94" backspace

How would this fit compare to the stock 17x9 ss wheels? Whats the stock offset? Would this put the wheels in more or out more? Would it rub on the inside or on the fender lip?

Wow questions questions questions ???

No they will not fit. In comparison, the offset will move the wheel outward by 31 mm (OEM SS wheels are a 56 mm offset), so the wheel will stick out of the wheel well.

On a 9 to 9.5" wide wheel I'd say 38 mm is the smallest numerical offset you'd want to run.

Default Not to hi-jack

Not to hi-jack his thread but I have a similar question. Would a +40 offset put me in any danger of hitting the fender lip with a 18x9.5 inch rim on an 01 camaro?

That would be fine, I have 38 mm offset 9.5" wide wheels on my car. If you are VERY low in back, might scrub the tire on the wheel well lip. But an adjustable panhard will probably fix that.

Thanks for the info. I found the same rims with a +43mm offset, sounds like it will work better
