Check out the thread titled Michelin Pilot Sports.

We discussed both tires.

KDs are awesome tires, good traction (depending upon HP), and awesome in dry weather.

Tirerack.com is going to have the best prices. See if your local tire dealer can either match, or be competitive with the price including shipping.

Do you already have a shop you use, or will have them mounted/balanced at? You can have Tirerack.com drop ship your tires there. Maybe save you some cash, compared to what a regular shop will charge you for them.

I would definately recommend them. I like the Michelins better myself, but they are more $$$.

My 275/40/18s KDWs were a little more with balancing and install. Should've been less, but the shop got quoted me the KD price but installed KDWs...

Needless to say, I wont be going back again.

315/35/17 BFG Drag radials are about $150 per tire at Summit. Work incredible but wear out fast.

After looking for KD's and other 315's, I decided to just go with the Nittos. They are about $170 each, they hook better than BFG KD's, but wear less. But for the price I figured what the hell, my car isn't a daily driver anymore. I had the el cheapo Sumitomos on there and they are really cheap, but a decent tire.

I LOVE my KD's. I even chose them over Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, and couldn't be happier. The BEST street tire bar none, IMHO.

The tires look sick! Big and fat, love the extra rubber around the lip of the rim to protect scrubbin curbs.

220$ now was that for the 275's I think i paid 320$ ea for the 315's

Awesome looking tire. Hooks well too. Little dissappointed on the amount of rumbling noise they make.
