Whos got big rims?
I just bought a Trans Am and I want to get 19's and 20's on it. I've seen a few pictures of f-bodys on the site but if any body can post pictures of there cars 19's, 20's, or even better, with the two it would be greatly appreciated. If you dont like big rims dont comment.

I tried really hard to steer away from this but I couldnt help but stop in and give my two cents. Are these 20's gonna be wire wheels? If so then move further down this site to the "Cars for Sale" section and sell that bird before you **** it up!! Reminds me of the time we seen 22" wheels on an F body from an East Coast Club, maybe you should try that website, they may be able to hook you up with a 83 Monte Carlo or a 76 Cutlass!

No no no. Im not looking for somthing thats going to kill the look of the car. IMO I personaly like the look of a big deep dished rims. I'm looking for the look that JOE02SS has. Not flashy, clean! And anyways I'm not 41 I'm 16 and like the way big rims look, get over yourself.

There are a few select guys that have pulled of 19s. You can't just throw any kind of rim on the car and make it look good. I've never seen 20s on a Camaro/Trans Am that looked good. FYI, I had 20s on one of my trucks when the first came out, so I'm not against them, but they are just too big for these cars IMO.

Do a search for TrilogyZ28,
he has 19 and 20" IForged aeros. I love the high tech look the big wheels give Camaros and TAs as long as there tucked under the car and done in good taste.

Don't listen to anyone giving you ****. 19s on a 4th gen can look good, and are the biggest you can go without changing the diameter of the tire you put on.
I have 19x9.5 wheels on all four corners and run 275/30/19 tires. The positive side is they look great and set off the car really well. Downside is they are heavy. Each rim is close to 40 lbs if I remember correctly and with such a small sidewall, you will have trouble hooking up. With that said, I don't race the car, I enjoy driving it and looking at it and the looks I get from people as I drive by.
19" tires are quite expensive as well. Know that before hand that you are looking at $250+ per tire.

So let me get this straight...you're 16 and you bought a TA? And you can afford 20" wheels for it?
I'm not flaming but man that just seems impossible unless you've got help for your parents.

Hey listen BOI, I'll get over myself when I'm finished bitch slappin your punk ***!! As far as 19" wheels go, some look great if your offset is correct but I dont think I have seen a 20" wheel with anything more than a 8" width, and geez you would have to put a 30mm on it and hope you dont rub or do a sudden fender flare mod!! Like these guys on here said, even 19" wheels arent gonna have much traction but if all your looking for is something to show off then go for it. Call TC @ Tomz Wheels, he gave me a smokin deal on Boyd Coddintons, he asked me not to say how much but trust me it was damm well worth it to talk with him!! No ofense intended on the 20"wire wheels, just wanted to make sure you werent gonna shoot the bird with lame *** wheels!! Its all good, give yourself a hug and consider it from me!!
