good tires?
Ok, I'm gonna need to get some new tires and here's what I'm looking for. I want something that has good wet and dry traction and that is under $200 a piece. Does it even exist? I like the eagle gs d3's and found them for about $206. Just wanted some opinions on anything else. Tires are 275/40/17

I'm going w/ the Kelly Fierce, it looks identicle to the Eagle F1 GS-D2 & since Kelly is made by Goodyear it can't be much different. Side by side they are indenticle except for they are half the price.

The KDW2 (not the old KDW) got better dry traction ratings than the D3's according to tirerack but if you drive in the rain the D3 is probably a better choice. The KDW2 is also about 50 bucks cheaper per tire in the P275/35/18 size as well.

You do realize that the ratings at tirerack.com are comprised of user ratings.
Most people compare the D3's to the KD's when it comes to performance.
