I have thoses on my rears. The fit is fine no rubbing what so ever. I have them mounted on Z06 wheels 18x9.5 they are about 1/4 inch wider than 274/40/17.Sorry I dont remember the offset, 53mm-56mm not for sure!

The wheels I've been looking at are 18x9.5 with a 38 mm offset.

I have no clue what my offsets are either. But Ive got 275/40/18s all around and I love 'em.

Stock height, no rubbing what-so-ever. That and I like the extra bit of height the 40 offers vs the 35 @ stock height. Its not an astronomical distance, but optically it just looks better to me. If I was lowered, I might run a 35...but as long as Im not, I'll stick w/ running 40 series.

You know Im a pic *****

I got 275/35/18s, I would go with the 35s over the 40s.

Stock comes with 245/50/16 or the 275/40/17. If you want to keep over all diameter or circumference the same, go with 275/35/18. If you want a taller tire in the rear, the 40s will work, your speedo will be off by 2.5 mph, faster.

I do want to run a little taller tire, but I'm concerned that with a 38 mm offset that it will put the tire too far out and cause the side walls to rub a bit.

From the sticky, is that what you are looking for, or talking about the 40 vs 35?

Use the http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...nfoTireMath.jsp calculator, get all the information there, thats what I used.

Thanks for the chart. The only questions I have are: does this apply to all rim diameters and is this chart specific to the f-body.Thanks
