WHeels and BFG q-force tires
Im looking at wheels (HP wheels). COme in a 38 mm offset 9 inch wide, any rubbing problems or need to roll fenders? Anyone running a 275/40?
Now, who likes and dislikes the G-force KDW 2's. Tirerack has mixed reviews, wondering what some of you guys thought about the tires.

lots of mixed reviews, anybody got their opinion or thoughts? Let me know as soon as one can, ordering wheels here and would like to get tires figured out.

The BFG's are awesome tires. If you have the money for them get them. You wont be disappointed. The ride is nice, they are fairly quiet, and they hold pretty damn well.
If you need traction for the rears BFG drag radials are the way to go. But only expect to get about 9-10k out of them.

yep, my kDW2's are very satisfying...i am a faithful BFG buyer. i read tons of reviews of people bitching on tirerack and stuff...but i like them. they are a bit noisy (tire humm) but i don't mind it, i can hardly hear it over my engine and exhaust anyways.
they are a bit on the pricey side, but the tread pattern looks sick and they hold up pretty well.

About 200 bucs or so, not to bad of a price for what your are getting. I am geting nice DR set on my stock WS6 wheels after my dad and I widen them for track use. So I want a decent tire for sticky as well as tire life, my car is loud, noisy tires wont be heard over my ORY and Borla all the way open

i would have to tell you that i don't have anything bad to say about the kDW2's! i don't know what you're looking for exactly. if you're looking for a good all around summer tire, it is certainly a good choice. not too bad for street light racing either. i actually just broke mines verginity last weekend lol out at woodard avenue lol....did a decent little burn out and then at a light with a Z28 did a solid 2500 rpm launch, and they hooked pretty well considering it was a kindof chilly night too!
