Default New rim damaged?

I just bought these (chrome ZR1s) from SLP and noticed that one of the wheels has a chip on the inside of the lip. You can see from the picture that in reality, it's not very big, and isn't going to be visible once the tire is mounted. My concern is that it may cause an issue with the tire sealing to the wheel once mounted. I sent this image to SLP on Friday and got an e-mail back saying that it would be forwarded to their sales department, so I'm still waiting for a response. What do you guys think?

it MIGHT cause problems, the only way is to mount the tires and see... I think you will be ok, becasue tires are actually quite forgiving...

I'd make them replace it because of corrosion, as well. Once the candy shell of the chrome is compromised, it's only a matter of time before the corrosion starts peeling the chrome.

So even if it doesn't leak right off, it would be pretty likely to develop over time.

I'd send it back and have it replaced.

any decent camera can do that on the macro setting.

I have a Sony F717, and I have taken some kick butt macro photos

Iwould also send that rim back to SLP. I have no idea how that got pass QC.

Yup, camera is a G3, but not macro setting, just manual focus. So you guys think I should send it back just because of issues with corrosion over time?
