personally i don't like chrome much on pewter with the black top and black mirrors, i think black rims even the car out alot more. just my .02 cents.
then again i'm a little biased.

actually man i got an 02, so i have pewter mirrors. but yeah, still got the black top. i had black wheels on my silver z28, and though they looked good, if u didnt keep your tires clean and shined all the time, it looks like ****...cuz the wheels are jet black, and the tires are more of a light charcoal.

Black motorsport ZO's would be good if you can keep the tires up like you said. The tire 'gel' that Mequires makes seems to hold for a long while.

i've stopped liking that tire shine stuff although i might try that meguiars gel, it always seems like it tosses itself all over your rear quarter panel. but ya, my vote is for black i can get you some pics of my car if you'd like just let me know. btw they are z06 motorsports.

I had some black 10 spoke ss wheels.. way back before black wheels got big... They got old... I would pick the y2k's before the zr1's... It just seems there's too many people runnin around on black wheels
