Default Backspacing Gods Please Help!!

Ok heres my scenario. my brain isnt working right now. i was about to order some boyd junkyard dogs in 17x10, but boyd wheels say that it wont fit on a late model f body. i was told that the backspacing is anywhere from 4-8 inches with 1/8 inch incriments. According to the backspacing chart, i would need a 6 7/8 back spacing correct?? please help me. i finally decided to throw down the money and get what i want, and now im told i cant... any ideas??

We've got them in stock with a 7 inch B/S. That equates to a 38mm offset.

You can run this wheel in 10" up front with a 275 or 285. I know of quite a few guys doing it.
