Kumho Ecsta Spt!!! Fn-a! I bought two 285/40/17's because they were dirt cheap($121 each)from the TireRack. I expected to get no traction, but a nice wide rear footprint. Planned on replacing them later when I could afford a better "name brand" tire. I am astounded 
These tires have impressed the hell outa me! They handle, they hook, and they look badass! If anyone is considering these, I would highly recommend them. I think Ive found 'my tire'.

I just got a set for the front. I'll have to see how I like them. Was never impressed really with the Kumho 712's, but I am poor college kid so I do with what I can.

These should be decently better than the 712.
I'm thinking of trying these. Currently My Kumho MX have been good about 22k with 220 treadwear. Been good tires.
