Default Hoosier DR Results

I keep meaning to post this.....

On my initial trip to the track with the blown stroker motor, I cut a 1.9+ 60' with my 315 Nittos (smoking). I borrowed a set of 11.5 x 27 / 16 MTs & cut a 1.62. The next time out I was running my new Hoosier 335/35/17 DRs and cut 2 back-to-back 1.60 60's! And that was with a gear change from 4.10s down to 3.40s. (in a 4,000 lb car with only a 3200 stall).

So if any of you are considering getting them, you will NOT be dissapointed! Oh, and they hook just as good on the street too. Hooisers ROCK!

What rim did you use for the 335 tires? i like the look of these, and a friend just bought some, but I don't know if they will fit on my car...my current 275-40-17MT ET Street Radials suck for traction on my 17X11 rims...I need more tire.

I'd like to know this too, I really want something wider than a m/t 275 radial on my 17x11s, what all was envolved in getting the 335s to fit? Just a BFH on the inner fender? Do they stick out much farther than the 315 nittos do on the outside edge? Pics would be great as well

They are quite a bit wider than Nittos, like almost 2"!!! I had to beat on the inner fender a little more, and I had to "roll" the fender lip too (just used a plastic hammer & worked on it for an hour or so). I mounted them on my 11 x 17 ZR1 wheels & they fit fine. I'll try to post some pics later. The end product is going to have mini tubs so I can tuck the whole tire inside the wheel wells. They stick out about an inch right now.

Any PIC of new Hoosier 335/35/17 on a 11" rim would be greatly appreciated.
