Just had a guy quote me. For a wheel that is chrome plated and needs replated... $125 for the rechrome. $20 for shipping it back... $145 per wheel total.

I can quote you $250 plus shipping per wheel.

They have to de-activate the chrome, refinish wheel and prep, and then re-dip in the normal steps. (the more time here and $ make for a better job years form now).

If you were a cheap bastard:
Can a chrome rim with a damaged spot where the chrome peeled off be polished to blend it in?

Once it starts to peel there's no ending it! You gotta refinish the entire wheel to make it look right... I had a set of Chrome wheels on my Grand Cherokee and after one winter they were completely destroyed..
