Default Yokohama v. BFG

im looking for some cheap but good rubber that will last.
i am looking for traction so i want tires that will grip, short on funds so i've decided to narrow it down between BFG g force sports, and yokohama AVS ES100.

what would you guys go with? also if you recommend another tire, let me know which

I went with the G Force Sport for the longer wear rating. They were cheaper too, and got good reviews here.

I run those Yoks but I dont think they get very good traction. Treadwear is not that great either. I am in need of some new tires soon and Im gonna try another tire this time.

The ES100s will also get really noisy after a while.

Mine seem to be noiser than what they were when new. The tread has seemed to stifen up some as well. They still do very well in the wet and the tread seems to have held up pretty decently.

I cant either on acceleratoin, but just crusing down the run it cuts through water pretty well. It seems to me that the straight line traction is getting worse with time.

I have the es100's and they definitely get louder with miles. I only have about 5,000 miles on them and at freeway speeds it is serioulsy a little annoying. I think they look badass though and are very sticky and track every little groove in the road. For the price I think they are tough to beat all around.

I knew someone with a mustang who had those Yokohamas. He also said straight line traction was ***, but cornering and steering response was awesome. I have BFGs KDW2s so I vote for the BFGs.

On tire rack, everyone says the BFG g-Force T/A KD are the noisiest tire on the road. True?
