Default 335 tires on a 10.5 rim?

Can you do it? What would be the downside?

Thanks

315 tops to be safe... is it worth ******* up a 250$ rim and 350$ tire? assuming your still on the road and thats all thats messed up.. you could sell your 18x10.5s and get the 18x12 z06s from toms wheels.. ? just a thought, im considering it.. im just worried about getting them to fit.. because im sure you, like me, know how sick it would look and want it real bad.. i have 315/30/18s bfg gforce drag radials.. they have them on tirerack for 250, pretty nice, but not a daily driver tire.. but its like 100 bucks cheaper then the max performance tires in that size.. this discussion is just like the 315's on a 9.5.. i dont think anyone would ever recommend it

I had 17" x 10.5" wheels on my Mustang and was running 315's. The company that sold me the wheels/tires told me that the 315's would be the max they would put on that wheel for me. Anything wider than that and it would be unsafe. Even if it is on a Mustang, the width of a wheel does not change, so I say no.

Thanks for the info.. Was just asking, not doing!

Gonna look for a decent "Street" tire in the 305 or 315 size ..

Thanks

hey if you run a 275/40 17 front or whatever.. a 315/30 is the closest to maintaining stock tire height unless you get a 295/35 like i use to have
