Why not just buy a set thats already chromed and sell your silver set to offset the cost? I know that its kind of hard to find a clean set of chrome 10 spoke SS rims bc it seems like most are peeling, but I used to have an extremely clean set that i got with tires for $450(I think). you'll be spending more then that to get those chromed.

the ones that are already chrome are also true ss rims, lol. also i think its hard to get a quality chrome job, unless your willing to pay alot. Not saying you have a bad idea, i just thought i'd give you my opinion, goodluck in whatever you decide.
