Default M/T drag radials witch ones?

I want to run 295/60/15, that is a 29.6 inch tall tire. I wanted to run a 28 or taller to help spool the turbo inbetween shifts. But I think I may suffer turning such a big wheel down the track. I figure if I run a taller tire the motor would see a bigger load and respond better. I have 3.73's and a t56 from a 98 camero in my truck. I have caltracs as well. What do you guys think I should do? I need help, deciding. With the stock rear end the slicks scare me....

Those tires look bad *** on your car. I didn't have a spooling issue untill I put the ls1 intake on. now it has a half second delay between shifts, I think my issue is in the tuning, (Rich maybe)I had some issues with the truck when it was tuned for the intake. I think I will have to retune and grab the 28's then. Is the 28 the most comon tire for the turbo t56's?
