Its about time to get rid of my home painted black spoked ZR1s, they look like crap and the spraypaint is brittle.

Now, I used to be into the bling, shiny, polished wheels....but not so much anymore. I had a set of polished ZR1s (17x9.5 & 17x11) and I loved the way the 11" looked from the rear, so I want something wide in the back. I also would like something black, to match the car.

So far here are some pictures I've gathered that I like.

These look really good for something so shiny, but Im not sure they would 'fit' with my theme.

Im open for any other suggestions that somebody can think of that would look good on my car.

Torque Thrust II would go well with your car, although I think the ADR's would also look good, but between the 2 I'd say Torque Thrust II's.

The ADR's are nice, but they're only 8.5....great thats only a 255 series wheel...talk about skinny.

I'm starting to like the all black ZO6's more and more

IMO chrome>powdercoating/black. So im biased. But i do like ZO6s. I think you'd be fine with a 275 on a 8.5 rim. Just dont go any bigger and watch the sidewalls.

If its really time to upgrade I'd get the Sterns then have Weldcraft Wheel widen the rears to 10" or 11". Best of both worlds. It'll cost a little more initially but will pay off in the long run. Also look into the black spoked American Racing Rebels. Those ADRs are sweet, nearly identical to the HP Evos it looks like, but they dont fit your car's theme I dont believe.

i like the sterns and wanted to get them for my old car. i think ive seen some of the ADR wheels with a black center before and i know they were on ebay when i found them.

just a word of advice though, if you are looking to be different and dont like the black ZR1s because they are played out, then dont get the torq thrusts either as they are used on TONS of cars...

Not the adr's or the sterns, i would stay away from those. i see wheels like that on evos and ****. i really like the tt2's and black zr-1's though

yeah I cant get over how skinny these other wheels are. Isnt there ANY wheel manufacturers that make a 11" wheel? They're all gay with 8.5 or 9.5 wheels. I might have to go with the TT2's

I just discovered those rims earlier today, your right they do look absolutely killer. A little narrow for my tastes, but definetely on the list now.

I like the z06's too, but get the ones with a chrome lip or with the chrome rivets so you have a little bit of color in them instead of just all black.
