These are 17's. I have seen some T/A's with bigger and I just don't like the look. Thats just my .02. I got these at Discount Tire. I like them. I am going to get wider for the rear, but for now 17x8.5 will do just fine. Good luck. Post pics after you get something that you like.

no, i just dont like 18's on the ta looks.... awkward, i'm into big rims to fill in the gaps and to have the "baller" look

20's on a t/a =

PLEASE dont get the blinging 20" wheels that weigh 60lbs each... you will get so much crap for doing that.

you need to get something with a nice stance, and something that compliments the car. big and chrome doesnt always compliment the car, but would rather make your car look like a hotwheels car, and a lifted one at that. what im getting at, is the bigger rim you go, the smaller profile tire you get, which in return creates the illusion of a larger wheel gap verse something like a 17" wheel.

fikse fm5 17x9.5/17x11... expensive, but awesome

sportmax 962 18x9.5

tt2's 17x9.5/17x11

zo6 17x9.5

my friends red lt1, just like yours. with zr1's, 17x9.5

i know those arent the same color, or year of your car, but these wheels are popular, and look great on trans am's.

I dont have pics but can lend you this advice....LISTEN to what the others are saying. 18's will be ok, if you want to get rid of the gap, lower your car about 1.5-2 inches.....That will take care of the gap....It will fill out nicely and look dayum good too.....

00TAProject is right. I mean I have 17's and not lowered yet, and it still looks smooth. Also if you go with a 17 or 18 then you can still have the baller look. Trust us, we know what we are talking about.

I'll sell you mine for $700 shipped. 18" Privat Fahrens.... lower the car 2" and you will be looking sweet!

I think those sportmax 962 18x9.5 or the ZR1's would look good on your car. I also think the 96-00 thin spoke WS6 wheels look good on those cars, you good probably get them cheap enough to buy a WS6 hood to, and that would it look good.
If my parents said they would spend that much on my car when I graduated I wouldn't have even thought about wheels. it would have been motor and rearend.

if you want the "baller" look, perhaps the TA isnt the car for you.....

a 17-18 inch wheel will fill the wheel well out nicely, You dont need DUBS.

With that kind of money to spend you need to be looking into CCW's/ Iforged/ HRE's/ Fiske wheels They look the best by far but will cost 3-4 grand, but come in most sizes.

with $3k-4k to spend, seriously look at CCW or Fiske FM5s or FM10s.
