Default Bullet (mustang) wheels on a 02 Z28?

3 opinion questions.

1. Would it be wrong to put some 17x9 Bullet Mustang replica wheels on a Camaro? I have always thaught they looked cool, and kinda dig the throw back style. Plus I want a dark center wheel for my car.

2. Discount tire direct has some 17x9s w 45mm ofset and 17X10.5s w 44mm offset. Will that ofset w 9s look right in the wheel wells (I dont like gonig down in rim width from 9.5 stock SS wheels)? I'm assuming w 10.5 and 315s out back I'd need the BFH and fender roll mods, right?

3. I'm trying to decide between the bullets, Hot Wheels Sixty-Eights (also on discounttiredirect's site) and 17 or 18x9.5 C6 Zo6's. Again I want dark wheels-no chrome. What do you think?

Oh, if it matters to your opinion the Bullets are only $124 each, Hot Wheels Sixty-eights are $136, and the C6 Zo6's are more like $1000 a set.

There's nothing wrong with putting Bullitts on your Camaro. Ford doesn't make the wheels. I say get 'em.

They make Bullit replicas in F-Car bolt patterns . . . . They have for quite some time.

How would anyone who didn't know better be able to tell the difference between them and Boyd Smoothies? I like them.

I've always liked the Bullits too. Who cares if they come stock on GTs? Ford's the one paying to use the design, that's all.

They always looked great on cars to me, even F-bodies. There was a guy on here within the past 6-7 months that put them on his Monterey Maroon 98-02 Z28 and it looked killer.

Well, I'm gonna go with the Bullits. Thee question is now, can I fit 17x10.5s (w/ 44 offset) all around if I stay with the 275/40/17s, or should I just take the 17x9s (45 offset). I think I'll ask that in a new post. Not finding a clear answer in search and stickies. Thanks to all who responded!
