Looks great, did you repaint the silver portion as well? I have a set of 10 spokes in the mail right now and am considering doing the same thing to mine. Any tips?

There you go! That's the way 10-spokes are done.

Looking great, be sure to get some pics of them on the car.

they will be switched between my 2 z's they will first be on my white one...then in about 3 weeks they will go on my polo green.

I've been wanting to do this for a while myself. Could you please run through the procedure you used? Thanks!

Who makes that silver paint? It seems to be a very close match to the original silver. Did you mean that you topped them off with three coats of clear after the black?

scotch brite each wheel took me a little over 2 hours...the i simple used wax and grease remover sprayed the entire wheel silver metallic...then we let dry for 30 and taped off inbetween the spokes and lip...painted black let dry for 30 peeled tape off and then sprayed with clear...let dry overnight...
that silver i took to my local paint shop and after about 15 close matches of metallic silver we decited on this one...its a tad lighter but damn near the sam...its hard to find silver with that much metallic in it
ima post up a pic of the 2 i havent done next to these so yall cansee this diff in the silver

o and you can see the over spray inside the wheel...that will come off...havent decited if i want the inside black or clean it off and make it silver...i thnkin silver as i dont wanna overkill the car with too black of wheels

actually in the first pic the left rim has already been base coated to see what the differance was in silver...

and notice the nice gouge i took out of the wheel on the left...all of these will have no curb rash afterwords

Daniel, thanks for the writeup. One more question. Is the silver you used available in an aerosol can? I would really appreciate the specs on the silver metallic color since it is so close to the original. You honestly can't tell the difference in the two colors in the first picture.
