Default Question about slightly bent wheel

I have a stock 5 spoke that is just slightly bent... it has been off the car and holds pressure (28 psi). Is it risky to run with this wheel on? I'd hate to find out the hard way at 120.

Its basically just slightly flattened, or slightly less round, over about 4 inches. Not noticable unless you're looking for it.

Just not sure if this is fairly common and due to a big pothole or something I should be concerned with.

You will probably get a nasty vibration at higher speeds with an out of round wheel. I know I had one and above 40 the whole car shook pretty bad. I tried to have the wheel balanced and they told me it was out of round and would not balance.

Was the wheel obviously out of round or very slightly?

find a shop that fixes and straitens wheels...it shouldn't be too expensive....$100 at the very most. There's a shop not far from me that we send a lot of customer cars too (i work at a detail shop) and it's usually like $400 when we take a benz there or something and have every rim fixed..all the curb rash taken out and what not....

i would look into that if you're really worried about it...you'll probably just get a vibration if anything though..then again just depends on how bad it is
