Default drag radial size on 16's

what is the widest size drag radial i can mount on my stock 16' wheels on my TA?
what would the narrowest tire i could mount on the front of the same car with the same rims?

I don't think they make anything bigger than a 255 for the 16s.

I see a 255 MT drag radial for 16s at summit.

255 is the widest they make for 16's. You could go down to 225's on the front but you'd want a 60 series sidewall to keep the height close to that of stock so your ABS doesn't go nuts with the different tire heights.

A long time ago someone ran 205's up front and saved 5lbs. Look kinda ghey though.

I've put 205/55/16's on a 16x8 before it fits but will be too short and make the ABS go nuts.
