Post pics of your Goodyear F1 GS D3 Deciding on a new tire (spun out and hit a tree last week, 
the car decided for me). Going with the GS D3's or Michelin PS2's. I hear the D3's look badass, would love to see some pics if anyone has em.
Also wondering what size to get, I have a 35th ann. SS and would like to keep the stock appearance so I'm keeping the stock 17" rims. Stock size is 275/40-17. Just wondering if anyone has gotten a different size and how its worked out.

Boo-Yah.....
Ive seen guys with 285's and 315's....the price changes dramaticly after you leave teh 275/40's...your looking at 200-220 / tire as it is..
I love them....and until Goodyear come out with somthing better...Im never changing.
Although Ive heard tell they arent that great at drag racing..but then any fool can go fast in a straight line....it takes a good tire to go as fast then turn right!

i sell goodyear tires among other brands including michelins for a living i would recommend the goodyear f1 gs d3 over the michelin the goodyear is cheaper and will not wear as bad on the edges it rides and drives well also looks really good on the car

Couple more questions...
Am I correct in assuming that 315's will not fit on factory 17" SS wheels?
What sizes should I go for? Stock is 275/40-17.

I had a 245/315 combo on my 'Stang. Not sure if that helps at all since it isn't on an LS1 car, but yeah:
They are some freakin' awesome tires. Unbelievable in the rain!

You would be glad if you get the f1-d3s these tires are the best performance tire on the market in all performance tires proven by Car and Driver, especially in the rain these tires are awesome.

Yes, 315's do not fit on a 9" wheel. I'd stick with the stock size.

I would stick with 275s all the way around...that way u can at least rotate the tires.
I highly recomment the gsd3s....best tire I have had on the car...excelent grip in the turns and unbelievable in the rain. I'm on my second set now...just put them on today!

another vote for 275's. When I got mine, I noticed that even though they are marked the same size as the stock eagles, the gs d3 was actually a little wider. The extra width won't cause any rubbing or anything, it was just nice to notice the little bit of extra rubber.

285's will fit the stock wheels but minor clearance work is needed on the front and rear fenders due to the larger than average size of the D3's. My 285's were as wide as 315 Nitto 555R's. Sorry no pics on the work PC.
