Default how much to swap tires?

Ok, my friend wrecked his TA . He's willing to swap his wider Pirelli tires with my stock tires for free. Does anyone know a ballpark figure I can expect to do this? His tires are going to go on my car and my tires are going to go on his car. Ill probably call around next few days to get some estimates.

if you are keeping your wheels, then you'll have to pay someone to mount the tires. Around here that is 8-12 bucks a piece. So if you are only paying for your 4, thats somewhere around $32-48. Double that if you are paying for his too.

If you are swapping the wheels and tires, then it will cost next to nothing.

If you go to like a Discount Tire, they'll probably charge 10-15 a tire, maybe cheaper than that if theyre in a good mood

Around here it is like $5 to dismount, $5 to mount and $5 to balance. And as mentioned above, if you get a 'car guy' at the desk or know someone who works there you can get an even better deal!

local shop here in town charged me $20 to dismount 2 tires, mount and balance 2 new ones on those wheels, and swap the fronts to the rear. it was the craziest thing too, the new tires didn't require any weights whatsoever to balance them
