Mine was a custom job, but I thought I had seen where a company was selling black ones. I just can't seem to find it now.

I paid $300 to have them powder coated.

Post up some pics when/if you get them. I have been playing with the idea of going the same route.

Those ones on ebay are "Bullitt" replicas, and do not have the deep lips that real TT2 wheels have. The only way to get black TT2s is to buy the polished ones and have them custom powdercoated.

Don't be lazy, the effort is worth it if you want something very few people have

true, they arent exact replicas, but its close to the same style. I agree about doing it right. I remember ramairjohn(i think that was his name) was selling a couple clean sets of powdercoated tt2's on here. not sure if he still has them.

I do like the TT2s better than the bullit rims linked above but you should have a look at the deep dish bullits if you're gonna go that route. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-9-...QQcmdZViewItem

They have the similar design to the TT2s and an actual deep dish vs the TT2's stepped lip. I actually wish that the makers of the TT2 would do a smooth lip like the ones on the bullits i linked. A big deep dish like that on a TT2 would be pretty high on my list of things to buy.

they are tt2's, powder coated... hence the larger stepped lip in the rear, they are 17x11's... i can find the thread where the guy was selling that car if you'd like.
