Default backspacing for prostars

I've searched and I haven't really come up with a clear cut answer...

Are there any benefits( other than being physically wider and the ability to run a wider tire) to running a 15x10? I will be getting a 9'' inch pretty soon that will most likely gonna be shortened, buying two sets of wheels will not be a problem. What offset should I run? I want the wheel/tire combo to sit flush with the car. I don't mind grinding; although, the less involved, the better.

thank you guys for your time!

7.5" is ideally what everybody runs on a 15x10. Not really any benefits over a 15x8, mainly just for looks. Lots of stupid fast cars run a 15x8.
