Default 315\35\17 MT Drag radials when will they be out?

Just like the title says I am in need of tires and I don't want to buy another set of Nitto drags really want the MT for the 11" ZR1 wheels. Jegs had a part number they told me but no tires yet?

I called MT back in January and they told me April. I called in may and they told me Fall/Winter 2006. Who knows if they will even be out within the next 12 months.

Well that sucks you would think they would know there is a market for the tire? I guess Nitto and BFG gets all the rewards for selling this size. If a 275/40/17 would fit and look good on a 11" rim I would have done that as well.

If I'm not mistaken someone here put the 275 on an 11" rim and it worked. I'd hold out for the 315's though.

275 MM fits 9-11" wheels just fine. I am about to switch to 275 mm tires on my 11" rims.

Take some pictures when you get them on there.

I can see a Mickey Thompson DR 275 fitting an 11" wheel.
My M/T 275/50/15's are the same width as my 315/35/17 Nitto DR's.

Obviously different wheels though.

The tire will look like the tires in the rear of the Mclaren SLR and Porsche 911 Turbos (streched).

I have seen them and they look about the same as my Nitto 315 555R's.

I wrote MT and asked them about their 18" drag radial. They just replied to me saying that they wont be out until next spring.

Cool man thanks for the pictures.
They look good on there I think I just found my new set of rear tires instead of waiting for the 315's.

When I talked to a M/T rep, he said they would be out late fall. But they also said the 275 is an approved size for 11's.
The bad thing is they did the same thing with the 275's. They said spring of 04 and they didn't come out til 05.
