Default Stripping chrome wheels

Anyone know how to do it?
Since I've got new wheels I thought about stripping the peeling chrome off my old 10 spokes and painting them black.

what kind of new wheels did you get mike? How bad is the pitting? is it on the outside or inside?
You can probably sell them as is for people looking for drag rims.

Chrome C5 Z06's
They are peeling inside and out. The outside isn't major it's in the corners and can't be seen unless you're right up on it.
I'll probably end up selling them as is.
