Default BF comp ta drag radial vs G force drag radial?

Is the newer style G Force drag radial any better than the older style comp ta drag radial from BF goodrich? The tread pattern looks better. Do they hook or wear better? My buddy has the older style 315s. The hook good for him, but they wore really fast.

From what I've seen the newer styles are limited mostly to import type car sizes. Not wide tires like we need for Fbodies. Those are only available in the older style tread. I have no idea if they're any different other than looks.

Well if you look at BF's website, it does not show the comp ta style, but it does show the common f body sizes under the g force style.

But in both Summit and Jegs if you look they list the old TA style tires in the larger sizes and then the more import oriented sizes under the new g force style.

The popular 17" diameter sizes that most of us use have the old tread design, the 18" diameter sizes use the cool looking newer tread pattern.
