Default vette wheels

I have a 1995 trans am conv and bought corvette wheels (slim 5 stars,17"front 18 back). The front ones fit fine but the rears not so much. The center hole where the bearings etc seem to be lil bigger than the wheel just barely. I figure maybe dremel it a lil. Wondering if anyone else had this issue. Bolt pattern is same btw.

had the same problem when i swapped rears and my zr1's the center hole was a hair small, i have heard that some early 4th gens had different size rear axles, or axles hubs before so i assume this is the case i just gave mine a little touch of the dremel and they fit perfect now didnt take much either

ya. 93-96 rear hubs were a bit larger then 97-02. you can usea dremel or use a metal file. problem fixed . i've had to do it on plenty of sets of wheels.

Same here. It will FIX the problem. You are only removing about the thickness of a human hair. Also, it is the lugs that center the wheel. (That is the reason you tighten them in the star pattern from one lug to the next.) So, don't worry about what you are taking off.

no i totally agree. wasnt worried bout the hole since its sooo minor and you're right that it is the lugs that support it all. Thanks guys anyways. btw, i did runa search and saw 93 wre different but wanted others opinions. THanks again
