Default Which slick should I get

I bought a pair of 28x11.5x16 ET Street slicks,. I have a Dana 60 with 4.10 gears and will be launching on a 150 shot with around a total of 500-520rwtq.

After talking with some friends they think the 28 is to big and will rob to much gear. The guy I bought them from hasn't shipped the 28s yet, and also has a pair of 26x10.5x16 ET Street slicks, would those benefit me more in all around ET?

The car is a 96 M6 TA

a 27 would be better for your setup, but a 28 should work just fine esp you being on the gas off the line you are gunna need as much meat as you can get. if u went up to a 4.30 gear the 28's with a 150 would be the most optimum setup.

but to answer your question, you can run the 28's but 27's would be better with the 4.10's.

I already paid him so I either have to get the 28s or the 26s, you think the 28s is what I should get?

Will I need adjustable LCAs to get the 28s to fit in the wheel well?

28's might be ok if you aren't lowered (some have had rubbing issues). If you are lowered, 27's would be the only way to go.

I'm not lowered.

I'm buyign all the suspension, rearend, wheels, and tires at the sametime. So I'm just trying to make it all work together.

You should get adjustable LCAs anyway, regardless.

You will have to trim some of the fender, but only you will ever know that you did it. It is not cosmetically damaging.

You will have to trim the rear portion of the fender.
