Default wheel size

Just wanted to know if I can fit a 305/45/18 on a 9.5 inch rim on a 2002 ss. This is the nitto drag radial. Car is not lowered, and will this size tire affect the traction control. Also if i mix the size tires is there any ill effects? Thinking of putting a 274 40 18 in the front. Thanks

According to Nitto, the 305/45/18 NT555R is acceptable for use on a 9.5" wheel. Its a very tall tire at almost 29" of nominal diameter so compared to the 26.7" nominal diameter of a 275/40/18 front I would expect that there might be ABS issues, but not having run this exact combination myself its only an opinion...

So does the 305/45/18 Nitto DR fit without rubbing on a 9.5" wheel.

305/35/18 Overall Diameter: 26.40 in 670.56 mm
305/45/18 Overall Diameter: 28.80 in 731.52 mm
285/35/18 Overall Diameter: 25.85 in 656.59 mm

It seems as if the 305 will fit in the fender well then height wouldnt be an issue to worry about since the sidewall height of the 305/45 is only 1.2" taller than the 305/35 and 1.5" taller than the 285/35. I just dont see .3" causing it not to fit. But I dont want to make a $500 mistake though lol so can someone chime in on this please.
