who makes the best 315/30/18
hey guys i am about to get a set of 315/30/18 tires for my c6 wheels for my 02 ws6. i was just wondering who makes the best tire that get the most traction. i was looking at the bfg drag radial that they have, it looks pretty nice and all the reviews say all good things. any other good tires to look at? thanks

I may be trying a pair of 315/30/18 Michelin PS2's on the rear when my current 295/30/18 PS2's wear out. Although what I am looking for in a tire is probably quite different than what you are looking for. I don't care as much for straight line traction as I do for handling and responsiveness in a corner.

I haven't had a chance to really put these tires to the test since its been pretty cold in Jersey since I've had the tires & car on the road. They handle pretty good thought thats for sure.

Do you work for BFG?? Because apparently you haven't tried Mickey Thompsons.
The Mickeys are now made in a 315/30R18 and I would personally go with those. Out of the 3 drag radials available I rate BFG's 3rd. Mickeys being first and Nitto's being 2nd.
Mickey's will hook GREAT but don't get the best mileage, Nittos hook fairly well after a nice little warm up and get great mileage, and BFG's don't hook good at all and get horrible mileage.
I have ran all three and right now I have Nitto's for DD and Mickey's awaiting some new Greg Weld rims.
