I like them. I've never had a problem in the rain. Just make sure you're careful.

As long as theirs tread on them they are fine in the rain, but like any other tire they suck in the rain when they are bald.

No complaints with mine I have about 7k on mine, I think that they last longer than most other drag radials and hook pretty well. Like the guys said just be carefull in the rain when they get bald like any tire...

NittosDR's are fine in the rain, just when they get past that certain point of tread wear in the center you want to maybe try and avoid the rain, heard of a few cases of hydro plaining. But then again with my car it doesnt see the rain. I've known people driving long distances and racing on them for as long as a year in some cases.

I get around 8k miles out of them before the tread gets to the point where I wouldn't want to be out in the rain on a daily driver basis. At that point, they still have another 3k - 4k miles of dry driving left or can be used at the track so I sell them for $25 each and get a new set.

They're probably the best DRs for a DD, especially if you put many miles on the car.

They worked great for me at the track when I was bolt-ons. I ran a 12.02 with 1.6 on them. They gave up once I had heads & cam.

I run them on my daily driver Impala and on my daily drivable Camaro. They work great on the street.

Great all around tire. They work good for a daily driver. Hook decent at the track.

NT 555R's is all I have use on my street rims for Formula in over 5 years. 3+ years of which it was my daily driver.

Only limitation I've seen is they aren't that great in snow

Default Discount Tire

I just ordered a pair yesterday, so I'll know in a few weeks how well they work. 123 a piece if you mention ls1tech.com (245/50-16).
