Question Possible width?

Ok, so...when I get wheels i'm thinking 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear. What I was wondering is, what is the widest possible tire to put on an 11" wide wheel. I know 315 are like the narrowest you can run, but could I put on something wider, like in the 325-345 range? Also, off topic, but...in refernce to Nitto NT555R's, I noticed that the sidewall denotes them as a drag tire, but they look pretty streetable. Is it possible to dd them and get decent tradwear(like at least 12-15k miles)?

I believe the widest tire would be a 335 on an 11" rim.

And the nittos are streetable, I went 16k on a set (I RARELY spun them). They are fine in the rain at first, but as they wear they get pretty bad. I wasn't down to the tread marker yet, and I had a pretty scary experience around 13k in the rain, so just keep that in mind when driving with them.
