What size tires came on a 1989 anniversary edition turbo trans am

I am wondering what size tires came on a 1989 turbo ta. I am looking for tires for my brother and he doesn't know what the tire size is. i would just look at the car, but the car is 500 miles away.

89-T/A Turbo Tire size...

The tire size should be 245/50/ZR16.

..... and you can fit a 255/50/16 on the rear no problem. It'll fit on the front too, but it'll rub just a bit when the wheel is at full steering lock. Rear will cause no issues though.
