Yes you can have them clear coated but they will look like they need to be polished. The clear leaves the wheel looking not as polished

Depends on what you are willing to live with. With my car I want to leave them as is and polish them up. I think polished looks amazing when they are kept up and chrome can't even compair. I polish my wheels every other wash. I wash the car about once a week and spend about 10 mintues polishing the wheels total.

+1 on keeping my wheels clean!

my car still looks really clean even when its kinda dirty, as long as my wheels are still nice and shiny!

Yep, I've also heard about that zoop sealer and will try that one out, but I don't mind washing and polishing my TT2's once in a while tho.

I hear that Zoops is a waste of money. I've never used it but the reviews that I've read have been less than impressive. Most say not to buy it. If you want to protect the wheels then put a coat of wax on them. It will help keep them looking good for a while longer

I've had my TT2's Chromed and Clearcoated and they look as good as they did i bought them. I must admit the clearcoat is starting to peel but it sure beats spending hours polishing every nook & cranny of the wheel. In a couple of weeks they will be sent back for the peeling problem for free but Heres some before pics when a acid base chemical was sprayed on the wheels and after they came back. I actually think it was a good thing it happened because i made me realize that the wheels needed some type of protection to prevent it from happening again.

With the chrome being clear coated it makes them look like polished wheels.

The before pic looks really bad. Did you ever wash your wheels or touch them at all

Yes all the time, Someone decided to spray a acid base chemical on the wheels in the parking lot of my old job, I came out from work one night to find my wheels looking like that! Thats what made me decided to clear coat them so i wouldn't have to worry about it ever again.
