C5 rims on a Z28
I put C5 rims on my camaro; i'm not sure, but i THINK they look kind of tucked in. I guess the offsets are different; anybody ever put c5 rims on an f-bod?
i think i need spacers?

Judging from your sig it looks like the rears are slightly tucked in. Some pictures can confirm this.
If it bothers you that much you can buy some spacers but do it right. Don't just buy those cheap universal spacers from part stores.

well it seems to me both the front and back are tucked in... it just shows the rear in the sig because the fronts are turned:
The thing is, i just had a set of 18's before this, and those things looked damn good, now with these they just look the total opposite. Whats a good set of spacers to get? and are there any disadvantages to putting spacers on?
Need2speed those look REALLY good. what spacers are those? size, etc?

my girl had my 17X9.5 & 18X10.5 Z06 rims on her car, now she has the black Z06 motorsports and they still look tucked, but not like this. down side to spacers is you loose some stud, hopefully you still have enough to thread the lug nuts on.

99sean, are you planning on leaving it like that or will you do something to it?
need2speed, have any pics before you put the spacers on? I want to see how big the difference was

Ebay Camaro Adapter. Find one that is hub-centric and wheel-centric. I think EZaccessary (on Ebay) has quite a collection of adapters for our Fbodies.
If you have stock length wheel studs, I would not put any spacer over 1/4" on your hubs. If you want to run 1/4" to 1" spacers, get longer wheel studs first.
Google search is your best friend...so are the sponsers here and the usual online performance parts places (Jegs, Summit, etc..). Look for ARP wheel studs for your Fbody.

Ya i've bought 1in spacers from ezaccessory a few times. he ships fast and i've always been satisfied. I consider these spacers bc they are used to space your wheels out more. I consider adapters to be the same type of product just with a different bolt pattern on the other end. But I know what youre saying, and most call these adapters.

they have 2" adaptors, i mean, not spacers. ill probably use those for the rear, and 1" for the front. does anyone know how safe these are? my wheels are original C5 rims, which has a different offset thats why theyre tucked in.

Best way to determine the spacer size, if the wheels are on your car.
Take a peice of string with some washers or nuts tied to one end. Tape the other end of the string to the quarter panel and or fender. Measure the distance between the wheel / tire face to the string. Then determin from your personal preference how much to move them outwards.

im going for the 2inch adapters for the rear, and 1inch for the front. ezaccessory on ebay have all of these. anyone knows of any performance/stability/reliability issues if these get installed?
