Default New wheels/tires.....(PICS!!)

Got my 17x9.5 & 17x11 zr1's in from Tomzwheels yesterday.....took just under 48 hours from the time I ordered until they were on my doorstep--awesome company to deal with. The pictures and my crappy camera don't do them justice, they look incredible. Can't wait to get everything mounted tomorrow. Tires are BFG KDW for the fronts and 315 BFG dr's for the rear. Gonna have to do some serious BFH'ing on the inner fenders to get those meats to fit.

Yep, 17x9.5 all the way around. Planned on just getting the 11" rears, but a local guy wanted all 4 of my wheels/tires so I sold them.....I saved about $250 doing it this way.

Only reason those are on is because my stockers are HIDEOUS and absolutely wouldn't polish out (I tried for DAYS). They're getting replaced with new whistlers and clear corners this winter.....if I have any cash left over from the 383 project you see in the background.

Will do...I think it's going to take quite a bit, but I'm lowered 1.75". I mounted a bare rear wheel last night and it looks like I'm going to need to bang the inner fender at least an inch in a couple places.

Thanks for all the compliments!! Tires are getting mounted this afternoon, then I go to work with the BFH tonight in the bitter *** cold, lol. I'll post pics of them on the car when it's done.

You'll have to pound it out in more than a couple spots, but it'll be well worth it! Can't wait to see them on the car!

Well here's what it took to get the rears to fit......some SERIOUS bfh'ing. Hopefully it'll stay nice outside & I'll get the car out this weekend to get better pics. It's amazing how just adding wider rear rims/tires totally changes the appearance/attitude of the car.

Not at the moment, will post up when the weather is nicer & I have a chance to make some.

Thanks for the compliments! Backed it out of the garage over lunch & snapped a couple better pics:

Thanks! Actually they are tinted......what you're seeing is what 35% tint looks like after 9 years and being ungaraged for 4 yrs of college. I can't believe how bad it faded, it used to be pretty dark. Definitely need to get it redone though, maybe this spring.
