The reason it might look a little lower is probably your rear tires. Being that they are 295/35/18s, they have a taller sidewall than the tire that's supposed to be on there as far as your rear wheels go, which is 275/35/18. The taller tire closes the gap from the top of the tire to the fender a bit more, so that might make the car appear to be lower.

Your front tires are the correct overall height, which is 25.6", your rears are about an inch taller overall.

Theres a guy with a black mach1 in my area we raced acouple of times and we where neck to neck most of the time unless driver error ( with stock 16 in. rims) . Same mach 1 runs away from me now cant keep up with him now with new bigger tires and rims as stated above...

Adding rotational mass to the car is not the way to go faster. That's why people run on drag lites at the track. You don't get something for nothing in this world.

On my daily driver (F150) I went from Aluminum 16" wheels to 17" Chrome (steel?)
and the truck felt slower..the chrome rims were waaay heavier. I've since went to Aluminum 17" and it feels better. It does have something to do with rotating mass, the more the wheels weigh, the more effort it takes to get them up to speed.
just my 2 cents

Wow....that's what you get when you type early on a Saturday morning! Or maybe it was because it was my 999th post!

But yes, car will feel slower too coz the wheels are heavier.
