19" x 10" C6 Rims Outback?!?!
Hey guys,
I was wondering if any of you knew why the 19" x 10" Rim on the C6 wont fit out back. They are telling me the biggest I can run out back are 18" x 9.5". Which I had in my C6's but got rid of cuz I want more meat out back for the motor being built. He's saying the 10" is too big that it'll hit, but yet we can run the 11" ZR-1's out back?!?!

I would be interested if anyone has accomplished putting this tire in the rear as well. I recently purchased some OEM C6 wheels and would like to know if I'm going to have to use a sledge hammer.

I know theres someone with a Formula on here who fit 19x10s on his car. I think the offset was +79mm. which is WAY too much for an f-body. He ran like a 1" spacer or something like that. Hopefully hell see this thread and add some info.

I have 19x10 C6 wheels on my SS but they are not the corvette offsett. I still had to beat the fender well a little so they wouldnt rub during cornereing. Only about a 1/4 inch or so. Took less that 30 seconds per side. I do not know what brand they are as I bought them used.

I put my OEM C6 rims on almost a year and a half ago. As many have commented, the offset on the rears is too radical. Incidentally the fronts are 18X8.5 not 18X9.
18X8.5 = 56 mm offset
19X10 = 79mm offset
The fronts will fit just fine. For the rear 19s, I bought some some 1.25 inch wheel hub-centric adapters that bolt on to the hub. If you are simply going to use a spacer, you will need a custom design or longer studs.
Of course now there are a number of C6 reproductions in FBody friendly offsets
