Default 345hp/stock rearend.......drag radials?

i have a 2000ss on a stock rearend. i only have 345rwhp and was wondering if drag radials would mess up my rear end? right now i have the nitto 555s put have trouble hooking on the street. i dont know how they do at the track yet. i found the nitto drag radials for 153 a piece. let me know if anyone has found them any cheaper.

I have 345/355 and run DR's. I also have an A4 with 3600 stall. I have been fine for now but as soon as I upgrade H/C I will be thinking about a 12 bolt too.
I cut 1.68 60 ft's with the stock 10 bolt but Im not sure how much longer that will last.

well in my experiance the stock rearend has broke 4 time with about 320 hp with my m6 but a automatic car seem to last alot longer because of less shock involved .so i say go for it and if it breaks just replace with a 12 bolt or a 9 inch

Has anybody here broken their 10 bolt with a bone stock car on D/Rs? I can't tell what the original poster, 3xblackss, has mods-wise, but I'm bone stock and I was wondering the same thing... (M6 btw)

I have probably 20 runs on MT DR's on an otherwise stock SLP 345hp package car. No rear end problems. I do have clutch problems though. I've worn it down enough that it gets hot easily and won't go into 4th at the top end sometimes. It's not the hydraulics, just won't release the clutch enough to get it into 4th. Time for a new clutch soon. Then I'll start worring about the rear!

I've had nitto drag radials with 4.10's in the 10 bolt for quite awhile, no problems here.

street tires is what has kept mine alive so far
The nittos are keeping my 10 bolt alive
