Default anyone ever hear of these tires

These are Riken tires. im looking at a set of these. im just wondering if they are descent tire for the money and if they hood up ok... they are a product of michelin... its the raptor zr. thanks

Never heard of them, but how much are they running and what sizes are you looking for?

I've heard of them, but I don't think they will probably hook up too great. Look similar to a Kumho, and Kumho=smoke show.

yes. i run a set on my 00 ss. as far as hooking. mine hook well. i am stock so not sure if that makes a differance. but they hook very well for the money. oh yeah and they are made by BF. got to summits website and there part number starts out BF. hope this helps.

My dad runs the Riken Raptor 275-40-17 on his vette and likes them...

I've read a lot of good things about these tires, and the grip with wet/dry traction ratings are a hell of a lot better than the other tires in the price segment. Treadwear is only 300 though. They're made by Michelin. I'll probably be buying these tires in a couple of weeks.

My buddy has them on his T/A. They are a summer tire and actually hook pretty well for a street tire. He was turning 1.85-1.95 60's with 275's on the same day I was turning 1.75-1.85 with 255 MT DR's - our cars are very similar.
